Of Wolves, Deer, Humans And Scapegoats

The 2013 Wisconsin deer hunt is underway. Everything is looking up.

There's been a slight uptick in licenses sold thanks to DNR recruiting efforts. More than 600,000 licenses have been purchased, and hunters can shoot this year, thanks to the special-interest driven DNR, in even more locations including some state parks and more populated counties.

And threes some snow on the ground, and so far, no one yet has told a reporter or a blog that wolves have ruined their deer-bagging chances.

Remember, that's a rural legend debunked.

When it comes to humans, deer and wolves, let's leave the scapegoats behind.
